COUNCIL ON ACCREDITATION - New York, NY 10005 - Phone (866) 262-8088 - www.coanet.org  The Bridge Youth & Family Services Society is interested in becoming accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).  COA is a national organization that sets standards for quality service and sends teams of experienced professionals to visit organizations to see whether they meet these standards. The mission of the Parent Place is to create a space where parents feel validated, valued and understood as they navigate the challenges of parenting children ages 0-6. The core values of The Bridge Youth & Family Services shape the Parent Place and the Society believes that the family unit, in all its diversity, is the basic building block of society.

The Parent Place is located in a relaxed and supportive home-like setting in the heart of Kelowna on Cadder Avenue. The activities and programs offered at the Parent Place are uniquely focused on supporting parents to do the best job they can raising their children.

Current programs at the Parent Place include:

parent education courses, weekly parent support groups, and resources consisting of brochures and pamphlets that are available to take home and keep as reference material.  Please check the Parent Place Calendar to view dates and times of programs offered.

As campaign goals are achieved, Parent Place programming will be expanded to include a Parent Place in Rutland.
