Kelowna Youth In Care Network

The Kelowna Youth in Care Network provides support for youth between the ages of 9-24 who are in and from care.  Youth can have a voice, form friendships, and learn about healthy living, while also being involved in fun outings and activities.

Objectives of the Kelowna Youth In Care Network are to:

  • Promote the views and opinions of youth in/from care
  • Promote the improvement of conditions for youth in/from care
  • Promote services for youth leaving care from the ages 18-24
  • Research and report on the needs specific to youth in/from care
  • Educate the public on these issues
  • Encourage support and friendship for youth in/from care

We encourage all youth in/from care to attend our meetings and community outings.

YICNWhen:  Generally we meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month between in the evening - but please check our current schedule as it does change!

Where: It varies depending on our activity so check our schedule!
