Kelowna Youth In Care NetworkThe Kelowna Youth In Care Network gives youth in/from care, aged 9-24, a voice in all matters that directly affect their everyday living through the support and knowledge of former youth in care.

Objectives of the Kelowna Youth In Care Network are to:

  • Promote the views and opinions of youth in/from care
  • Promote the improvement of conditions for youth in/from care
  • Promote services for youth leaving care from the ages 18-24
  • Research and report on the needs specific to youth in/from care
  • Educate the public on these issues
  • Encourage support and friendship for youth in/from care

The group meets every Thursday to talk about issues that directly involve Youth in Care.  Programming includes numerous fun outings and activities.  We encourage all youth in/from care to attend our meetings and community outings.

The Kelowna Youth In Care Network is funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development and Kiwanis Summit Club.
