Rutland URBA(n) Art & Artisan Market @ Shepherd Rd Transit Exchange
Aug 23 @ 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Rutland URBA(n) Art & Artisan Market @ Shepherd Rd Transit Exchange

We will have a booth, fun activities and some arts & crafts at this pop-up neighbourhood market.

Artists from all over Canada have been creating 5 murals leading up to the Rutland URBAN Art & Artisan Market. The 5 murals all within walking distance of each other will transform the space within our business improvement area. Street art makes our neighbourhoods vibrant; they add colour to building walls and streets that would otherwise go unnoticed. Having this art in our community is a treat for locals young and old and will encourage tourists to visit Rutland. Street Art attracts new local businesses, helps bring customers to pre-existing locations, and boosts the economy. To celebrate our artists and their work we are having a market for the community and business owners to come and enjoy. We will have entertainment, vendors, and foodie trucks! It will be a FREE, FUN, FAMILY event that Rutland can embrace and enjoy. Don’t forget to check out the official Uptown Mural Project website!
