We invest in our caregivers’ resilience and capacity which significantly reduces disruption in the lives of children and youth in care; the stability that results leads to better outcomes for their future. Our goal is to limit the number of moves a young person will experience, provide them with safety, security and stability while fostering healthy attachments.
Open your door, change a young persons path…
The Bridge Youth & Family Services, in collaboration with the Ministry of Children and Family Development, requires individuals who can provide one self-contained suite as well as mentoring support for an adolescent learning the skills to live competently on their own. Having the skills and knowledge in the areas of effective communication, conflict resolution and addiction and recovery would be an asset. The mentor will receive ongoing support and training from the Program Facilitator, monthly rent and remuneration. A criminal record search and home study will be required.
If you are an individual, family or empty-nest home owner with a desire to create a positive path for youth with complex needs who are experiencing significant challenges, please submit a resume and cover letter to mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us at 250 763 0456 for further information.
